I am trying to find some easy kid friendly meals. Around 4:00 everyday both kids start to loose their minds because they are hungry so, I am pre making some quick starts to meals that I can give them right away.  Then I can finish dinner while they get started.

I pre baked sweet potatoes, cooked edamame, cut up cucumbers and carrots and made a pasta that can be heated up quickly.
The pasta dish was simple.
I cooked thin noodles then added chicken broth, a bit of milk, fresh spinach and parmesan cheese.

This week we are having:

Corned beef reuben's with a side salad
Turkey burgers (still looking for a good recipe) and asparagus
Taco's with re fried beans and roasted zucchini
Take out soup and salad from our gourmet market down the street

Mike is out of town one night so I will probably just make grilled cheese that night with some fruit.

I am also testing out a make ahead pancake mix that I will post later when I make sure it is a keeper.
